Project Details
Aaron Enterprises, Inc. was contracted to complete a design build HDD across a channel at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. The crossing length was 1100 LF to install a 16” HDPE bundle. HDD design completed by AEI can be found below. 36” conductor casing and chemical grouting was employed due to contaminated ground on rig side. AEI was contracted two years later to complete the second phase which consisted of an additional 3300 LF of 24” HDPE bundle install on three separate crossings by HDD.
