Project Details
Aaron Enterprises, Inc. was contracted to design and complete a 2800 LF hilltop to hilltop HDD install of 20” steel gas main near Wheeling, WV. The HDD design can be found below. Even with maximizing depth of cover in the valley significant inadvertent return (IR) risk was identified. Downhole grouting, relief well and 36” temporary casing was required to complete crossing. HDD was completed on 24/7 work schedule due to completion date.
