Old Tech But Reliable Outcomes
A steel casing is installed from a launch shaft to a receiving shaft by thrusting it through the earth while rotating auger within the casing conveys the earth back out of the casing and into the launch shaft. A utility is then typically housed within the steel casing. Installation lengths of up to +/- 400 LF can be achieved and steel casing diameters of up to +/- 84” can be installed. Auger boring is primarily deployed in dirt and rock ground conditions.
